A family company that chose this island
WATEXO was started by a couple who came to Gran Canaria for its landscapes, the ocean and the light, and decided to build a business here.
Why we started
We love this island: open landscapes, the Atlantic on every side and a slower way of living. We also noticed how much of daily life here depends on things that have to be carried, shipped or generated somewhere.
So we started with something simple that people need every week: drinking water, brought to the door on a time you choose. It is a small business, and we want it to stay close to the people it serves as it grows.
Why start small
Big infrastructure plans look good on slides. Delivering water every day teaches you the roads, the buildings and the people. We want that knowledge in place before we ask anyone to trust us with a roof or a car park.
